Conceived and edited by Zone founder Ali Beşikçi, the book treats the two photographic practices less as separate bodies of work than as images contaminating one another—moving between observation, intervention and the strange pleasure of entering someone else’s memories. Designed by Bülent Erkmen and printed by Ofset Yapımevi, The Halcyon Days unfolds like a fragmented recollection: seductive, uneasy and already disappearing.
