Fuzz Club Split Single No. 5 by The Black Angels / Sonic Jesus
Label: Fuzz Club Records, UK
Format: Vinyl, 10’’ single, 45 RPM
Release Date: December 15, 2014
Edition: Limited edition of 750 white vinyl pressing
Fuzz Club Split Single No. 5 brings together The Black Angels and Italy’s Sonic Jesus on a psych-charged 10’’ offering from London’s Fuzz Club Records. The Black Angels contribute a driving, tribal-inflected take on “Molly Moves My Generation,” while Sonic Jesus deliver an expansive, droning piece titled “Lost Reprise,” each side reflecting the label’s blend of psychedelic mind-warp and subterranean groove. Issued in limited coloured variants, the record is a snapshot of the modern underground psyche rock continuum — raw, ritualistic and unmoored from mainstream tempo.
