A field being spoken into the room
In the context of “Nerden Geldik Buraya: Vasıf Kortun’u Okumak” published in collaboration between SALT and Robinson Crusoe 389, the talk unfolded into something larger than a book presentation.
On December 6, Saturday — We’re hosting Nejat Satı for an artist talk accompanied by a mini-exhibition of two paintings, and featuring a set of limited-edition, numbered “stitched-wound” towels created specially for the day.
Nejat Satı returns with the book that gathers works from the series he pushed toward their final, unsettling embodiment. At this launch, the artist will walk us through the anatomy of his book—layer by layer, nerve by nerve.
For this event, Satı has also created specially produced, numbered stitched-wound beach towels—objects vibrating with that familiar paradox: the magnificence of existence and the absurdity at its core.
