Z3NE is ZONE’s third collective book, bringing together the work of 205 artists from across the globe in a dense, deliberately theme-less photographic sequence. Edited and laid out by Ali Beşikçi, with cover design by legendary Turkish graphic designer Bülent Erkmen, the book rejects the authority of the stand-alone image in favour of what happens when photographs begin to contaminate, contradict and amplify one another. Divided into unnamed chapters, quiet and hesitant images gradually form dialogues, then collisions—a visual chorus moving between intimacy, violence, darkness and ambiguity without forcing a single narrative. Printed by Ofset Yapımevi in Istanbul and limited to 300 copies, Z3NE treats the photobook less as a container for individual works than as a space where images acquire meaning through proximity.
