Tanrısız Beleş At is the first solo album by Mertcan Mertbilek, best known as the songwriter, guitarist, and vocalist of Palmiyeler. While retaining the hazy psychedelic and surf-inflected atmosphere associated with his band, the record moves toward a more intimate and personal territory, balancing dreamlike melodies with understated lyricism. Written, recorded, and mixed by Mertcan Mertbilek and mastered by Arın Adak Ortaçağ, the album presents a concise yet distinctive statement from one of the key figures of Turkey’s contemporary independent psychedelic rock scene.
