Innerspeaker is the point where Kevin Parker’s solitary studio vision crystallized into a fully formed psychedelic language. Recorded almost entirely by Parker in a remote beachside house in Western Australia and mixed by Dave Fridmann, the album merges fuzz-heavy guitars, fluid rhythms and inward-facing songwriting into a dense but lucid soundscape. Drawing from late-’60s psych while remaining unmistakably contemporary, Innerspeaker feels less like revivalism and more like an internal monologue amplified — intimate, expansive, and quietly transformative.
