Amongst the More Irritating Minor Ideas is a deeply personal photobook by Ali Beşikçi tracing mourning, lost innocence and the quiet residue left behind by time. Built from photographs made through wandering and looking at what exists in-between—light, absence, fragments and traces—the book refuses to make loss fully visible, allowing it instead to linger at the edges of the image. Conceived, edited and designed by Beşikçi, with text design by Bülent Erkmen, it moves through memory as something unstable and repeatedly reconstructed: tender, irritating and impossible to entirely leave behind.
