Communism Reader is a risograph publication exploring revolutionary histories and contemporary anti-colonial struggles across the Global South. Edited by Ipek Burçak and Eren İleri, the reader brings together contributions by Alpas Pilipinas, Sanabel Abdelrahman, Hasan Özgür Top, Akiko Ono, and Ipek Burçak, alongside interviews with Emrah Cilasun and C., with graphic design by Fadi Houmani. Rather than revisiting communism as a closed historical project, the publication traces its unfinished political and cultural legacies, connecting past movements with present forms of resistance. Through essays, interviews, and visual material, Communism Reader positions independent publishing as a space for collective memory, political imagination, and transnational solidarity.
